The first Project Consortium meeting will allow the consortium members to discuss the overall project implementation, selection of the trained administrative staff, coach, athletes, referees and other stakeholders. The workshop will provide better understanding of these challenges in order to shape and properly target future actions.
On the ice tournament with participation of women’s ice hockey teams from the Danube region combined with the educational part in form of various workshops (Players Education module I; Coaches Education module I; Leaders Education module I and Game Officials Education module I).
The main goal of this tournament is to give the possibility for young players to participate at a well-organized EU level tournament and through this help them to have equal opportunities at their age. To prepare for this tournament the participating clubs will start and run other programs for that age group as well, such as training camps, practices and off ice education. The tournament will be played with six teams in the Round-Robin format. According to the results in each group, the first, second and third ranked teams will form a new group and play one more Round-Robin within their group. This structure allows equal opportunities for all the teams to win the tournament, and on the other hand give the stronger teams the possibility to play high quality games during the second round.
Depending on the feedback from the participating countries, there can be changes regarding the playing format at the second and third tournament.
